Logo making. This is the subject at hand. I have been trying to create a logo for my business for a LOOONG time. Unfurled has gone through a few different iterations, and I am still not happy. It was hard enough to decide on a name that encompassed not only my style, heart, and all that goes into, for lack of a better word, "my brand". Unfurled, in fact, used to be, "Satya" for a bit of time, this lacked a direct connotation to flowers unfortunately. Now that my business is becoming a bit more focused, and picking up, I am in need of marketing tactics, such as: business cards. To create these, one must have a complete and succinctly appropriate logo! I have been googling things like, "how to make a logo", and "hip florist logos", "creative floral logos", and even, god help me, "hipster florist logo" !!! Only because, I am drawn to the hand drawn logos that include typography and vintage-style drawings and etchings. This also happens to be what is in style currently, hence, "hipster". However, what is "trending" isn't always the best route to go for a timeless design. Here are some quite beauteous ones that I downloaded as inspiration, what do you think? Which one is your favorite? Timeless? Would you contact me if I had one of these logos? Does anyone in cyber world have thoughts or ideas for me as I move forward? Tips and tricks perhaps?
